Powerbuilder is a Microsoft Windows hosted rapid development environment that has database access built into it. It has a look and feel similar to Visual Basic, but has much more power than that. It also features object oriented windows contructions. To make it run against an Informix database, you will need I-Net for the PC. At our site we chose PC/TCP from FTP to provide the network protocol layer. There are a few other network packages Informix will run against, but I can't remember them.
