You are absolutely correct. I have been responsible for IDS since January of 2005 and I worked closely with my predecessor since 2003. In that time, we have made significant headway in ensuring we grow our Informix install base. In 2005, we delivered IDS v10.0, IDS Express v10.0, the PHP Level 5 driver, Express Runtime for IDS, the Oracle to IDS Migration Tool Kit, we completed our first benchmark since the acquisition and we delivered new features in the latest IDS v10.0 fixpack in December. Key team members have spent months on the road meeting with both management and technical people from direct clients and business partners. These meetings have paid off with major deals signed and competitive take-outs. If you are waiting for product advertising, you'll be disappointed. Christine Normile
Christine, Waiting for product advertising!!....I'm still waiting for a response from you on the Peoplesoft/Oracle issues. I recall sharing this with you in Atlanta, you made alot of promises but yet you have said nothing. To me, you no longer have a voice here. David, sorry in advance. I know you mentioned you like her!!! Darren, I apologize that I have not responded soon enough. I have to prioritize issues and objectives. Since speaking with you in Atlanta, my top priorities have been completing a benchmark, ensuring we roll out our sales training and messaging to our sales people and ensuring that they know how to position the product and preparing to reopen discussions with SAP.
