Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
Is there any 4GL function that checks if a string is an integer?

I'm using 4GL 7.20.ud6:
Just set the integer variable equal to the string variable. If the
string is numeric, then the integer variable will be set to the value of
the string. If the string is alpha, then the integer variable will be
null.
WHENEVER ERROR STOP will show a status of 0 immediately after the
conversions; the only difference being that the integer variable will be
null. If your applications are set to WHENEVER ANY ERROR CONTINUE, then
status will be set to -1213 for the character to numeric conversion.
