The tutorial, aka Informix Guide to SQL Tutorial version 7.1 part number 000-7634 says nothing about ACE in the index, but does talk about report generation. It has 3 lines on page 1-19 that say that ACE is the report generator, but not how to use it or where to find information on it. I've learned all this the hard way, and it's a pet peeve of mine.
