Memory on IDS 7.31 for NT

Hi Gurus, Hope that someone can help me on this one, our IDS 7.31 server seems to be using and holding an awful lot of memory. We are running Windows NT4 with service pack 6. Each time I re-boot the server, the same, in my opinion, massive amount of memory is instantly used and held. Around 454228k is permanantly in use by oninit.exe, while there are no users on the system! Is this normal? The server keeps giving us "out of virtual memory errors" and this is getting quite worrying. Any help you can give would be much appreciated. Best Regards, Kirk P.S. the server is a 4 x Xeon 500 with 526mb RAM

Amount of memory used by the server depends on configuration: BUFFERS - 4096 bytes each buffer LOCKS - 44 bytes each lock SHMVIRTSIZE - how many You need ( in Kbytes ) > Kirk Leonid.
