Veritas Netbackup

Is anyone using Veritas NetBackup product to archive their Informix 7.3x Online Dynamic server db engines? Is this a good product for Informix archiving and possibly backing up AIX and SGI Unix servers? We want to utilize a DLT autochanger (Exabyte) to work with this product. Any comments, suggestions, caveats, etc. are greatly appreciated :-)

I'm using it on a test-bed IDS.2000 system that will soon be a production
server. Combined with onbar and the Veritas database agent (to allow onbar to
talk to netbackup) it works quite nicely. I can automate my db archives via a
netbackup schedule, while log backups are handled via ALARMPROGRAM calling
onbar. Oh, and the tape drive/netbackup server is on a different box than the
database. I'm using an HP 4mm library of 6 tapes - DLT would be even better!
Netbackup takes a bit of setup to get things going, but once that's done it's
pretty smooth. You can combine your o/s backups on the same tapes if you like.
Do make sur ethat they have client agents for all the platforms you want to back
up.

Thank you, Dave for your information :-)) (I just saw your reply this afternoon
after I reposted my question).
