May be, but OCX's don't (as far as I know) and are also a part of OLE, perhaps the most important for NewEra. Also although OLE may be slow there are functionallity that is interesting and that we want to be able to use. > Informix should come out with a win 3.1 version that will run in Win95, > OS/2 Warp. Why cut themselves off. I don't see MS writing just a Win95 > version of VB. Yes fine if they can. All I am saying: If that takes more time than coming up with a Win95/NT version than at least do this first. The 3.1 version thereafter - with a different team, so the next version again isn't delayed. Even MS used a long time to deliver VB 4.0, Informix don't have that much time (nor resources probably). > There is not that many people using Win95. Most of the Win95 application > are really just Win 3.1. May be so, but there are a lot of things that become easy with 32 bit adressing that was difficult before. Also remember it's not only Win 95 but NT as well. Nils.Myklebust@ccmail.telemax.no NM-data, Aasesvei 71, 1300 Sandvika, Norway My opinions are those of my company
