dbspace is down ...
Sorry for MIME format ... I have no alternative ...
BUT PLEASE HELP ME ...
IX: OWS 7.2, OS: SCO UNIX
During my initial years as IX DBA, I tried to create
two instances of informix ows 7.2. For this I created
a dbspace using COMMAND CENTER from my windows
station. then I put this name as ROOTDBS in my test
ONCONFIG file. It was a failure ... off cource ...
then I created a raw file, and put that name as
ROOTDBS in test ONCONFIG. every thing went well ...
till now.
Now when I try to use 'ontape' it crashes. and the
reason is the same dbspace mentioned above. When I try
to drop that dbspace, its a failure ...
here is the output from 'onstat -d'
