Hardware Mirroring

Hi We are using Baan and Informix 7.24UC1 on Solaris 2.6. We have setup hardware mirroring using disk array A1000 having total 6 disks[3x3]. We created approx. 6 logical disks from 3x18.2GB because of Informix 2GB limit. The Informix was installed before we setup the hardware mirroring. So I was asked to changed the raw_links of chunks as under: Earlier: rootdbs -> /dev/rdsk/c2t0d0s0 plogdbs -> /dev/rdsk/c2t0d1s0 llogdbs -> /dev/rdsk/c2t0d0s0 datdbs -> /dev/rdsk/c2t0d0s3 idxdbs -> /dev/rdsk/c2t0d1s3 After: rootdbs -> /dev/md/rdsk/d20 plogdbs -> /dev/md/rdsk/d25 llogdbs -> /dev/md/rdsk/d30 * datdbs -> /dev/md/rdsk/d40 * idxdbs -> /dev/md/rdsk/d45 I could change the links without any problem except datdbs and idxdbs. I get the following error if I change the raw_links of datdbs and idxdbs. 12:33:47 Action: Run 'oncheck -cD 1048578' 12:33:47 Assert Failed: Page Check Error in mappage:bad bitmap page 12:33:47 Who: Thread(7, main_loop(), fae2018, 1)17176) 12:33:47 Results: Possible inconsistenciesin 'sysmaster:"informix".sysdatabas es' when the links are re-instated to old setting, the database starts working.
