HELP! -- Can't install OWGS

Help! I am trying to install OWGS on a Comaq Prolinea w/ a 2.1GB drive and a 12GB RAID array. Whenever I try to install the server, the process fails. There is no error message, and there is also nothing under the /Informix directory. In the setup log, the last message says that it is trying to create global groups and permissions. We have tried many times to clense and adjust the registry, to open up all security, etc -- but to no avail. NT is the latest w/ service pack 4. IFMX is the latest for that platform. There is over 200MB of RAM on the system. Nothing else is running when we attempt the install. One of the questions I have is that upon logon, the "From" field is listed as the workgroup, and not the machine. Can this be the casue of my angst? NT is not my strong point . . .
