Alright, all you Linux bigots, I'm finally trying to see if all this Informix on Linux stuff is worthwhile. I've installed Red Hat 6.1 and I'm trying to install the single-user-trialware Foundation.2000 CDROM, and it's just going off into never-never-land. There are no instructions for the install. Anybody know where to find install instructions? I remember a discussion a while ago about the RPM install. That's what I was doing, but does it also require all the preliminary stuff such as establishing an informix account and setting INFORMIXDIR? (getting too spoiled with the hands-off WinNT install). Where did you get the rpm from? Thomas
