Help connecting Linux - NT

I've been developing applications with Netscape Livewire and NT Informix
I want to continue developing under Livewire but using Linux stored
Databases.
I've download, installed and locally works fine, but ...
I've tried to connect between those machines, but It has been imposible
!!
The only log that I get (in linux machine) is something like that:
14:31:05 listener-thread: err = -408: oserr = 0: errstr = : Invalidmessage type received from the sqlexec process.
trying "netstat -a" returns a listening port at 1543 --> sqlexec
Trying ilogin from NT machine returns a window with no rows ¿?
When I use command center (NT) the program hangs and I've to
Ctrl+Alt+del to stop the program ¿?
Another times I get errors like "Unable to connect" more clear than the
other one.
Does anybody have any idea?
Could I stop problems using ODBC driver? I know that it's also allowed
inside Livewire applications.
Thanks in advance,

Sergi,
OpenLink has drivers that will allow this type of ODBC connectivity. Please
