Thanks, M.S. ===================================================================== M. S. To start INFORMIX OnLine 5.01 on a RISC6000 AIX system at bootup I edited the /etc/rc file. I added lines to set up the environment variables - INFORMIXDIR, SCHEMAS, TBCONFIG, etc.. I modified the PATH assignment to include $INFORMIXDIR/bin and finally added a line to execute tbinit. Since I am using a trigger I also had to add a line to execute the sql script to start the trigger. Hope this will help. -------------------- ***** JBT ***** ------------------ J. B.
