Guys- FYI- HDR is now LEGAL in WGE. You just have to buy an additional server license for your secondary ($686 last time I looked). From the IBM website: Informix Dynamic Server V9.4 Workgroup Edition features and attributes include: High availability Point-in-time instance wide restore Table level backup and recovery XBSA support for easy integration of third-party backup tools Supports high-availability clustering solutions This licensing change was made early last year. --EEM -----Original Message----- From: Obnoxio The Clown [mailto:obnoxio@serendipita.com] Sent: Thursday, June 24, 2004 6:27 AM To: Captain Pedantic Cc: informix-list@iiug.org Subject: Re: HDR with Synchronous replication Captain Pedantic said: > "rkusenet" <rkusenet@sympatico.ca> wrote in message > news:2jukupF15oa8lU1@uni-berlin.de... >> >> But the key to my whole proposal is that IBM must change >> their licensing policy for IDS WGE.
