However I am still not able to reproduce the problem which you= are talking about. Currently I am using CSDK 2.90 Beta ( ODBC 2.90 ) on= Windows 2000 SP3. As you said you are using CSDK 2.81.TC2 and I am not aware of such problems even in CSDK 2.81.TC2 , I also tried CS= KD 2.81.TC1 and still I am not able to reproduce the problem. I did create two System DSNs changed the server name in one DSN and checked b= ack the same in the other DSN, the other DSN was still holding its original server name and vice versa. You might also want to check the values of various fields in the regist= ry "My Computer\\HKEY_LOCALE_MACHINE\\SOFTWARE\\ODBC\\ODBC.INI\\<your dsn names>" to make sure it does indeed changes. Again, pl. report this= problem in detail to your IBM Informix Technical Support. In the new version the change is global, all DSN's on the same PC are affected. I am not aware of such problems reported earlier. He tel= ls me that from version 3.31 onwards (I installed CSDK2.81 TC2 for Windows= ), he configures multiple "data source names" (multiple odbc's) on the sam= e PC, BUT - when he changes the attribute of one data source name (odbc), the= attributes for the other sources on the same PC also changes. For examp= le if he changes the INFORMIXSERVER for the one, it changes for the others= too.
