blocking checkpoint with RSS

Can you not block a secondary RSS with a blobspace in it? If there is a way I can't figure it out.
Not sure what you are asking, but you are aware that data in blobspaces does NOT replicate to secondaries over HDR or RSS and SDS nodes will not know about changes to blob pages it has in its cache. Hi,
No I don't think you can. Certainly the presence of any raw tables prevents a
block on an RSS and I would expect any other unlogged objects to cause the
same problem.
It's also worth mentioning that you can't restore storage snaps taken on
servers where 'onmode -c block' was not used since 11.50 or so. I've not
tested it but I'm told the instance will abort if it detects this.
