OpenLink calls this UDBC. In effect it's an implementation of the ANSI CLI possibly with some modifications for compatibility with ODBC. ODBC itself is supposed to be an implementation of the ANSI CLI, but I no longer have any idea how this standard is upgraded and whether ODBC ver 3.0 tracks it in any way (or the other way arround). > and which need to connect to an Informix ODS 7.23 >server (running on both NT and UNIX). Openlink does have the client component for Digital Unix v4.x All server components for Windows NT on Intel with an Informix database server is also available. They seem to lack the database agent for Informix for their server component for Digital Unix v4.x (assuming your Unix database server have this same OS). They do however seem to have such an agent for Digital Unix v3.x. Their software is well enough written that versions for the "wrong" os often runs well on a newer version. You may want to test this. OpenLink does however port according to demand and it seems that demand doesn't have to be all that high for another port. May be it would help contacting them. Regarding SCO it used to be that they didn't support NT as a server at all. I don't know if that has changed. >Please send answers to steeve_boulanger@baan.com . >Thanks for your help!
