I was thinking about this after sending the msg...is it possible to be
logged on, yet not have any active threads processing; so having the onstat
-u not return anything is just showing that the user has no threads?

How do you check whether the thread is active? By onstat -g
ath?
Thanks

Joe,
That sounds right. I mean you can be logged on (in the telnet world)
but not started anything that needs a connection to the database.
Or for that matter maybe they started isql/dbaccess and just haven't
selected a database yet..
Well cheers from a Beaverton, OR worker...
