sysmaster: syschkio information
I have been collecting chunk i/o information from sysmaster using the
following query:
select a.chunknum, b.dbsnum, a.pagesread, a.reads, a.pageswritten,a.writes, b.fname, c.name
from syschkio a, syschunks b, sysdbspaces c
where a.chunknum = b.chunknum
and b.dbsnum = c.dbsnum
order by chunknum;
Several of the chunks are returning negative numbers for pagesread:
71,20,-472561,73864,74,74,/prod/informix/devices/hd33c4,data_orders,
72,20,-391554,76760,14,14,/prod/informix/devices/hd3c5,data_orders,
106,31,-373671,341088,11,11,/prod/informix/devices/hd4c4,data_invoices,
Running 7.31.UC5 on AIX 4.3.2
It looks like this field approaches some limit (524,288 perhaps?) and
gets a sign bit flipped.
