Re: "LAST PAGE TRAILER" I

I would like to endorse Timothy's Comments on my recent message. I would however point out that if we followed Timothy's logic we would not need to do special coding to get first page header and page header for the first page conflicts sorted out. What we should all remember is that ACE was developed in the early 1980's and hasn't been radically altered since then. It's certainly showing it's age, but having siad that how many of the currently fashionable report writers can do as much as ACE can do, or will still be in use 15 years later? > > O> From: onlinedbc@cix.compulink.co.uk ("Malcolm Weallans") > O> Last Page Trailer is otherwise known as ON LAST ROW. > > Not so, because if you have a PAGE TRAILER and ON LAST ROW, the ON LAST > ROWstuff will print below your data, but the PAGE TRAILER stuff will > stillprint, and it will be at the bottom of the page.
