DR Problems with 7.30 on Alpha Server

Hi, We are running Informix 7.30 on two Digital Alpha servers (Digital Unix 4.0E). One is the primary server and the second is the secondary server (the data replication) The problem that we're having is once the primary server has done its complete cycle of logical log (onstat -l) (12 in our case), then seconsary server disconnect. There are the messages on the primary server's logfile 21:04:00 Logical Log 136 Complete. 21:08:06 DR: ping timeout 21:08:06 DR: Receive error 21:08:08 DR: Turned off on primary server 21:08:14 DR: Cannot connect to secondary server Afterward, no more replication is done, i have to rebuild the data replication from a tape or a (big) file. I tried to simply restart the secondary server, but it stops a the same log number (the last log number of its cycle) If any of you have suggestions, let me know Thanks. pfiset@videotron.ca

What is happened to primary after replication failure ? Any way, you don't need to restore whole system on secondary, you can just replay logs with ONDATARTR (if you are using ONARCHIVE) or ontape from primary. After logs will be replayed, replicated servers will synchronize automatically.
