Hi, I'd appreciate any ideas on the following problem. Everything used to work just fine....until we made a few changes. We changed a couple of tables, that shouldn't have effected us this way. Now we can't figure out how to fix it. Right after we made some changes there were suddenly several PRICE variables that were declared as (8,2) format and (10,2) format, that refused to be displayed in their forms. The form fields fill with stars as if the field couldn't fit in the form. Here's some things we do know. There were three prices that suddenly displayed this way (out of many more prices in our programs.) - The three prices are spread across three different tables. - There are other prices in these tables that still display fine. - The prices are displayed by separate programs with separate Makefiles. - Recompiling didn't help. - Users cannot update these fields. In desperation we remade the forms with 10 digits after the ".". It allows the user to enter the correct price and allows the prices to be displayed. All good and well except prices now show like: $1234.5500000000 It's a bit bizarre to look at and we'd like to fix it. I welcome any and all suggestions. Thanks in advance.
