RE: PDQ_PRIORITY parameter!
Posted in 2001
In order to utilize PDQ, you either need to set PDQPRIORITY in either your
SQL (or 4GL) or your environment.
In SQL:
set PDQPRIORITY <some_value>
In environment (UNIX presumed):
export PDQPRIORITY=<some_value>

Subject: PDQ_PRIORITY parameter!
I have these settings for PDQ:

DS_MAX_QUERIES # Maximum number of decision supportqueries
DS_TOTAL_MEMORY # Decision support memory (Kbytes)
DS_MAX_SCANS 1048576 # Maximum number of decision supportscans
DATASKIP off # List of dbspaces to skip
onstat -g mgm output:

I haven't seen any PDQ.What does this mean now.Should I change PDQ
parameters or is there no need? How can I make queries running in
parallel?Thanks...
