Specifically WHAT does not work. I installed IDS 2000 on Solaris 8 and the engine worked fine with no patches. However neither ipload nor I/SQL would work. They both needed to be recompiled by Informix with the current version of the SDK (2.50). I/SQL 7.30.uc5 is now available and it works. When Solaris 8 is installed, the installation procedure asks whether or not you want IPV6 but the default is no. If you have installed IPV6 then you migh have problems that I have not found.
