old problem, is there a solution yet? ISQL 7.32Uc2, 7.32.FC3 ... CLIPPED with NVARCHAR/NCHAR fields produces error - 9001 in reports. Is there another solution then assign the nvarchar field to a char variable and print this ? best regards ruediger papke

Interesting enough that the problem still persists in current versions of ISQL. The workaround you described is the same I used, if I remember correctly this was also suggested to me by tech support many, many years ago when I stumbled across this problem. It is a bit cumbersome but it works nicely. Regards, Richard
