I know one disadvantage we discovered the hard way: you can't have tables in different databases with referential constraints between them. This yields error -295 (do a finderr on it...). We had planned on doing a lot of logical grouping into databases, reaching out referentially when needed, but... <grimace>. This is true with 5.01... hey, maybe they changed it, you never know.
