"Invalid message received from database engine"...

I'm getting this error (SQL -408, ISAM 0) on a program while printing a large report (some 50 pages). Sometimes it happens after printing 20 pages, 30 pages, 40 pages of the same report and the error message has pointed, in different occasions, to several lines on different source files. The only thing there is in common to the various places where the error has occurred is that it is always a SELECT COUNT(*) statement on some table (different tables, no joins) with a WHERE clause that consists of 2 to 6 equality comparisons ANDed together. By the way, this program has been developed in MS-DOS and is actually running under MS-DOS... Can anybody help me on this one? Pedro.
