The new disk drives we ordered can be hard formatted with 1K blocks instead of 512 bytes. With this bigger size, I can pick up over a 1G extra space. We plan to run Informix 4.0 [until our 5.0 comes in] against raw disk partitions. I would like to know if Informix will support this size and what parameters, if any, I need to modify?
