ANNOUNCE: sprl 0.03 ported to Linux
Posted in 2000
Hello All Just FYI, sprl version 0.03 is now available for free download at: http://www.geocities.com/sujitpal/artdb006.html For those who missed my last announcement on the subject (judging from the rounds of deafening applause, I would say all - although, to be fair, I made the announcement on Dec 29 1999, and you were probably waiting for the four horsemen of the apocalypse to come charging down Times Square or Piccadily Circus or the Gateway of India or <put your national landmark here>), sprl is an interpreter for a scripting language SPRL designed to write regression tests for Informix stored procedures. This simplifies your testing by allowing you to script a set of canned tests which you run every time you make a change to your SPL routines, and IMO anyway, allows you to visualize and write more complicated SPs. This was originally developed on a Sun box running Solaris 5.5.1 and IDS 7.30 and was later ported to RH Linux 5.2 with SE 2.4 (this version). Thanks for your time.
