Robin, You need to check the value of the tbconfig parameter LTAPESIZE. By using the -l option, you are saying to use the logical log backup device parameters, instead of the archive tape device parameters. If your LTAPESIZE is set to the default of 10240, then you will stop the tbunload after only 10 MB's. You can override these parameters by adding the following options individually: -b blocksize -s tapesize I hope this helps! p.s. See you at the User Conference. Tracy W.
