Hi all, We are working with Business Objects 5 and Informix version 11.50 FC4. We use the Client-SDK 3.50 TC8. When we run the following sql query with the Business Objects software, we have the error :*"Combination of FetArrSize Deferred-PREPARE and OPTOFC is not supported.-1831"* "SELECT *materiel.mat_lremarque, * materiel.mat_lcontratma FROM materiel" The data type of the field "mat_lremarque" of the table "materiel" is LVARCHAR(2500). We have only the error -1831 when we use the datatype LVARCHAR. We found a temporary solution, we must cast LVARCHAR(2500) to CHAR(2500). Indeed, with the following sql query , we have no longer the error -1831 : "SELECT *materiel.mat_lremarque::char(2500), * materiel.mat_lcontratma FROM materiel" Do you know a better solution ? There is a bug in the CSDK 3.50 and 3.70 that returns this error for LVARCHAR with fetch array coding. I reported it in Dec. You should open a PMR also so we get a fix faster. Thanks Art. Do you know if there is the same bug with the older version of CSDK (for example 2.70) ? Regards.
