Power-4gl update

This is to inform users and possible users of the Power-4gl toolset that the newest release - version 3.0 - is available. For those who are unfamiliar with Power-4gl, it is a complete set of programming tools which enhance the Informix-4gl programming language, especially offering an advanced user-interface. For more information about Power-4gl, refer to the www at: http://www.strengur.is/~frantz/pow4gl.html Included there is a full description, illustrations, the manual, and a free downloadable demo program containing a subset of the toolset. The latest version 3.0 contains many more features, speedier execution and bug fixes. Some of the new features include: - More flexible aggregate functions in pick-lists. Aggregate results appear at the bottom of the pick-list window and can now consist of any function. - Ability to mark multiple pick-list rows for subsequent processing. Within a pick-list, the user can mark particular rows, creating a subset of the list which can be acted on by the program. - Advanced help windows include text highlighting. The help text can be created in any text editor and the use of special characters have the effect of highlighting portions of the text in the help window. - More assorted general purpose functions. - Movement of some underlying functions to c-code for faster execution.
