esql error

I just set up a mandrake 9.1 system and I'm attempting to compile an .ec program and I get the following error: /usr/informix/lib/esql/libifgen.a(decconv.o)(.text+0x12c2): In function `dectodbl': : undefined reference to `errno' Does anyone have an Idea what the issue is? Thanks. M

Most likely, your Mandrake version is similar to RH 9 in that it objects to programs that misuse errno (that is, declare it inline as 'extern int errno;'. If done properly via the <errno.h> header, then all is well.
