Not sure that this has anything to do with Informix but... Caller ID is provided by the Phone company. (This information is downloaded between the 1st and 2nd ring.) You need to call your phone company and ask them to add this service to your phone line(s), they will add a monthly charge to your phone bill. You can buy little boxes from most major department stores that display (and store the last 50 or so) phone numbers. Some of the new PCs come with voice modems that will process the caller ID (eg. Compaq).
