Not really. In case of a power failure I think all will be Ok. Remember that logical logs are archived (and in the case of /dev/null device - freed) only when there are no active transactions in there. So - on power up you'll go just in the process of quick recovery with rollback of noncommitted transactions and rollforward of committed ones. The only problem you will have - is in the case of disaster recovery (you will have no the possibillity to restore the updates to databases since the last archive).
