Hi ,
Not an Informix Expert but your NUMAIOVPS seems somewhat low. Informix
recommends NUMAIOVPS (2 + number of disks used for online).
Then monitor length of aio queues. onstat -g ioq

Pankaj,
If you have Kernel Asynchronous I/O (KAIO) enabled, as edem does, you only
need a few AIO VPs, usually 4-6 for logging plus 1 per chunk for any
COOKED chunks. So if you only use RAW chunks then only a few AIO VPs are
needed.
