Hi, we have an IBM Pseries 570, AIX 5.3, IDS 10.00.UC5. Every time I want to monitor the ODBC's user connectios only get this from DB: sysmaster, Table: syssessions. sid 7427 username informix uid 204 pid -1 hostname ::ffff:10.36.192 tty connected 1194369692 feprogram pooladdr 1353574560 is_wlatch 0 is_wlock 0 is_wbuff 0 is_wckpt 0 is_wlogbuf 0 is_wtrans 0 is_monitor 0 is_incrit 0 state 524289 sid 7425 username informix uid 204 pid -1 hostname ::ffff:10.36.192 tty connected 1194369642 feprogram pooladdr 1353799840 is_wlatch 0 is_wlock 0 is_wbuff 0 is_wckpt 0 is_wlogbuf 0 is_wtrans 0 is_monitor 0 is_incrit 0 state 524289 Hostnames with "::ffff:10.36.192" and don't get an undestanding data from connected 1194369642. It's some one out there who have an script to check this more clearly? Regards, Cesar
Hi, Try to get some IP address from client and insert it in the file /etc/hostsAfter, activate a connection to DB from this client (desktop) and check it again... Hi, The IP is in IPV6 Format. This is obviously truncated. I had the same problem and I could only solve it by entering reverse Records for the IPs in the DNS or in hosts. Then you can see the names, which should give you a clue which peer is active.
