Nanser Read the little peice of paper that came with the CD-ROM where it tells you the serial number and activation key. Alternatively: 1) Mount the CD-ROM on /mnt or wherever you mount CD-ROMS on your machine. 2) cd $INFORMIXDIR 3) cpio -icvdumB </mnt/.../4GLRDI.CPI In the mount directory, you will find a directory structure. Go down the structure till you find some file with the suffix CPI like the example That is the file you want to use in the cpio command.
