Translating with DrWatson… this can take a few seconds the first time.
This is a genuine, complex translation. DrWatson protects commands, error codes, and log output while naturally translating the surrounding text. It’s translated once and saved.
If the instance is blocked and you are sure that it's not still rolling back
after "onmode -z" or "Long Transaction Aborted":
1) get the user thread address from "onstat -u";
2) use that to get the transaction address from "onstat -x";
3) try terminating the transaction with "onmode -Z";
4) if that fails, try the same but with "onmode -H".
The last "heuristically" (optimistically) terminates a transaction. It's not
documented as it should only be used as a last resort. This can be necessary
if the transaction has become detached from any session, or if a two-phase
commit was never completed.
