Back up takes too long

I wonder whether there are any ways to improve the speed of back up. I =
am currently using ontape to back up the database to dell autoloader =
daily.
The back up time is about 4 hours for the database size of about 75 GB. =
Any suggestion.

What is the OS and the tape parameters. 20GB an hour is not too bad.
The
other option is to do level 1/2s as well
