Hi, In he informix directory under the release section you will see the values for the Shared memory params in a release doc usually called Engine or some such other thing. NOTE WELL : A LITTLE ACEPTED BUG I have found in many versions if not all online versions that when the engine first starts the values of the Config are written to the reserved pages, on the first startup if these are not re-set with correct values by re-initialising the disk area then they can not be simply adjusted in tbconfig and re-set by the shared memory start-up option, hence for the first time until the engine is up and happy always use Parameters and re-initialise the disk for the root db or you will spend eons of time trying to re-set something that does not make any difference in the kernel.
