Hi, this weekend, we have migrated our OL 5.10 from an old Alpha 2100 to an new Alpha ES40. The ES40 has 2 CPU's and we've setted PSORT_NPROCS=8. Our dbimport worked without seeing problems very fast (as we thought). After the import we tbchecked the Database ( -cI). The result was horrible: over 50 Indexes incorrekt. Message from tbcheck: e.g.: ERROR: Bad Page 7a3d4000, page not found. ERROR: Index rab_zutext_prkey for diaf:root.rab_zutext is bad. The 2.nd Database, we imported with unsetted PSORT_NPROCS and: No Errors occoured! Does anyone of you have had the same problem setting PSORT_NPROCS for dbimport? Alpha ES40 / 2 CPU, 2,5 GB Ram, LSM for Mirroring and Splitting and RA3000-Storage-System, Tru64 4.0F and OL 5.10UD1. Bye Andy
