I'm having a problem with the tbstat -pe utility with a OL 5.0 UC1 engine. I've got a decent sized BLOBspace with an additional chunk added to it (total Bspace = 200 MB) which is about 80% filled. I share this because I believe there's a bug dealing with BLOBspaces and the -pe option. When I run the tbcheck -pe the engine processes reads and writes for about 5 minutes then appears to go into the twilight zone for another half hour. There are no reads and writes according to the tbstat -u but the sar report shows a very heavy user load. The utility then dumps core and returns nothing. Has anyone else seen the same thing?? Is it a bug as I suspect? When was/will it be fixed? I believe the BLOBspace is the culprit as the BLOBS were moved from tbspace based storage into BLOBspace storage and the problem with the utility appeared immediately. Any info appreciated. ============================================================================ Carlton Doe Spectrum Field Services v (801) 461-8241 f (801) 461-8222 AT&T Mail: attmail!alexis!carlton Internet: cdoe@sunset.utah.edu OR att!attmail!alexis!carlton@uunet.UU.NET
