informix 7.23 on aix 4.3.3 (not the owner)
We have moved informix 7.23 on to aix 4.3.3. everything appears as
expected except only the user "informix" can run "set explain on" in
dbaccess and only the user "informix" can run the "system"
command in a stored procedure.
all other users get :-
534 Cannot open EXPLAIN output file
1: not owner.
and
668 System command cannot be executed
1: Not owner
for the above.
Wondered if anyone has experienced this or has suggestions for a
possible cause.

BTW you are aware that 7.23 is VERY OLD, not Y2K compliant, rather slow by
the standards of 7.31 or 9.3/9.4, and is missing MANY features introduced in
7.24, 7.30, 7.31, 9.3 and 9.4 (even ignoring the object relational features
and datablade technology of 9.xx)? You REALLY should upgrade.
