Fragment data and idx

Hi gurus: I have IDS 7.31.UD7 I have a table with high reads and inserts, this table have fragment by expression on 4 dbspaces. The 7 index for this table, must be fragment on other dbspaces or must be on 1 dbspaces. What say the expertise ?? Thanks in advance

If you do not explicitly specify the location for index, the indexes will be fragmented and each fragment will stay in the same dbspace where the corresponding table fragment resides. You can build a global index in one dbspace if you specify the dbspace in CREATE INDEX .....in dbs0 statement.
