having a little difficulty installing the informix jdbc driver on an NT machine. I run 'java setup' and enter the correct information. The setup fails because it seems to think that I do not have a compatable VM. I am running JRE1.3. After consulting the docs I see that it needs version 1.1.x so I install JRE1.1.8. Problem solved.... no. The setup program requires 1.3 to run. Am I being thick? Is this a bit of a chicken and egg situation. Any help would be much appreciated. Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/
