Hi, How can m/c A connect to m/c B given that m/c A has apache 1.3.2 on rh linux 5.2 and m/c B has inf 4.20.UC1 on SVr4v3? Also, how do I change desktop, 3d button colors in gnome - rh linux 5.2? Thanks, Sunil

PHP3? mod_perl + DBI + DBD::Informix? CGI scripts written in Perl, Shell, C, C++, ... There are many choices. I'd be inclined to use Perl, DBI and DBD::Informix, but my opinion is biassed (see my sig). That might or might not be using mod_perl too -- that's a decision which can be changed lot on in the game. I note that m/c B is not running a 4.20 server, though it might be running 4.20 I4GL and/or ISQL. It should be running a 5.10 server, OnLine or SE. Beware the database permissions for the user ID that the web server uses. You should grant very restricted permissions to said user. > Also, how do I change desktop, 3d button colors in gnome - rh linux 5.2? Not sure... -- Jonathan Leffler (jleffler@informix.com, jleffler@earthlink.net) Guardian of DBD::Informix v0.95 -- see http://www.perl.com/CPAN #include <disclaimer.h>
