Any ideas or suggestions??? I can't comment on Informix 3.3 (never used it :-> ), but I had a similar problem a few times recently with the SE engine, and a database which had been trashed. It seemed that Informix' systables somehow went out of sync with the actual C-ISAM files. The systables row contains a path name to the discrete file used for data along with the table name used by/for sql access. So we had an ORDER table, which in the file system was order_156.dat (or close, I don't remember), but Informix thought it should have been order_154.dat. The immediate fix was to login as the dba, create a default systables form, and fix the path name entries manually. Then rebuild the indexes. This worked without a hitch. |> |> Thanks! |> |> Howard Hope it helps. -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- -- Mitch C.
