RE: EDITOR w/Wordwrap IN 4GL EXECUTABLE

Thanks -- but I see my first posting was not clear: What I'm looking for is an editor WITHIN A 4GL PROGRAM -- not a 4GL source code editor such as vi or jed. The purpose of this editor is to edit notes, messages, email, etc. from the database, while still allowing control keys to directly access other features of the program. Here is my original posting, I include so it's easier to read: I am looking for a 4GL text EDITOR which supports ALL of the following, either to purchase, lease, modify, or develop using 4GL or C: 1) Complete word wrap capability, especially when inserting words into a paragraph. 2) Can scroll line-by-line through entire document. 3) Able to edit a document of up to at least 250K. 4) Upon saving, the text lines must be "extractable" in units of lines as defined by the "soft CR" AND the real newlines. I want to store it in units of lines, NOT one huge 32K char field. 5) Must be able to map the editing keys to suit the needs of end users -- some people want to use Delete, others Control-X, for example. 6) It needs to capture control and function keys and branch to our own 4GL functions, or branch to a function which we can define ourselves and link into the program. I'd prefer 4GL code, but C would be acceptable. The "look and feel" of the editor should be similar to FourGen CASE Tools generated applications. I'd appreciate any tips or suggestions in regard to any of the issues I listed. If anyone knows of a custom 4GL editor with source code for sale I'd like to hear from you too. If necessary I will write a C-program to be supported as an add-on to 4GL, if you have a similar interest in obtaining this source code, let me know.
