Problems initializing Rootdbs on Linux Mandrake 7.0

Hello Friends: I'm getting mad with this problem. I have a dual Pentium Xeon with 1 Gb RAM and Linux Mandrake 7.0. I installed IDS 7.3-UC10 for Linux, but when i initialize the root dbspace with onmonitor i obtain the following messages in the console: dupfd: fd 32767, max 1024 dupfd: fd 65534, max 32768 And the initialization process never ends. With oninit -i, the machine don´t shows any messages but the initialization process never ends. I have a separate partition for the rootdbs, and a link that points to it that is the one that i put in the onconfig file. I had other Informix servers in Pentium 3 machines, with Linux RedHat, without problems. Please help me!!! Thank you for all.
